Aftercare & next steps
You'll leave with aftercare tips and a recommendation for when to come back.
How to prep
Facials
- Arrive with a clean face if you can — but no stress, we double cleanse everyone.
- For peels, IPL and microchanneling, pause retinoids and active exfoliants 3–5 days before your visit.
- Not sure where to start? Book a Skin Analysis or a Custom Targeted Facial and we'll guide you.
Head Spa
- Come with dry hair — we'll take it from there.
- Head spa is a relaxation treatment; ask us about pairing it with a facial or massage for a full reset.
Botox & Fillers
- Please book a consultation before your first filler appointment.
- Avoid alcohol and blood thinners like ibuprofen for 24 hours before injectables to minimize bruising.
- Plan injectables at least two weeks before big events.
Brows
- Let your brows grow for at least two weeks before a wax or lamination for the best shape.
- Lamination results last 6–8 weeks; keep brows dry for 24 hours afterward.
Lashes
- Arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes — no mascara, please.
- Fills must be booked within 2–4 weeks with at least 40% of extensions remaining.
- First time with extensions? Book a free patch test.
Massage
- Massage services are relaxation treatments and are not billable to extended health plans.
- Pair a 60-minute massage with a custom facial in our Rest Package ($200).
Permanent Jewelry
- Chain pricing may vary by metal and style — ask us about premium 14k options.
- Permanent jewelry is easily removed with scissors and can be re-welded for a small fee.
Waxing
- Hair should be about ¼ inch (2–3 weeks of growth) for the wax to grip properly.
- Skip retinoids on waxed areas for a week beforehand, and avoid sun and hot tubs for 24 hours after.
Aftercare
Facials & peels
- Skip makeup for the rest of the day if you can, and go easy on actives (retinol, acids) for 48–72 hours.
- SPF every morning — especially after dermaplaning, peels, IPL or microchanneling.
- Mild pinkness after advanced treatments is normal and settles within 24–72 hours.
Lashes
- Keep lashes dry for the first 24 hours; no steam, saunas or heavy sweating.
- Cleanse gently with a lash-safe cleanser and brush daily. No oil-based products or mascara on extensions.
- Book your fill within 2–4 weeks — see the fill calculator on the lash page.
Brows
- Keep laminated brows dry and product-free for 24 hours.
- Avoid retinol or exfoliants on the brow area for a few days after waxing.
Waxing
- No hot tubs, saunas, tanning or tight clothing on the area for 24 hours.
- Exfoliate gently after 48 hours and moisturize daily to keep ingrowns away.
Head spa & massage
- Drink water, take it slow, and enjoy the rest of your day.
- For head spa, leave the treatment in — you can wash as normal tomorrow.
Injectables
- No lying flat, rubbing or strenuous exercise for 4 hours after Botox; avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
- Filler swelling and small bruises are normal for a few days; your 2-week follow-up is included.
Studio policies
Cancellations & rescheduling
Life happens — just give us as much notice as you can. Your booking confirmation email has a link to reschedule or cancel, and it lists the cancellation terms for your service. Or call or text the studio and we'll sort it out.
Running late
Please arrive a few minutes early so your full treatment time is yours. If you're running behind, text or call us — we'll do our best, but we may need to shorten the service so the next client isn't kept waiting.
Deposits & payment
Some services and group bookings ask for a deposit when you book online — you'll see it before you confirm. We take all major cards, debit and cash at the studio.
Gift cards
honey. gift cards can be used toward any service. Buy them online from the Gift Cards link at the top of the page, or pick one up at the front desk.
Practical bits
Where do I park?
There's a parking lot right out front at 220 Queensway. Look for the honey. sign — Unit 210 is the door beneath it.
What should I bring?
Just yourself. Come with a clean face if you can (we'll cleanse anyway), skip the mascara before lash appointments, and tell us about any medications, allergies or recent treatments when you arrive.
Do you do consultations?
Yes — a $40 Skin Analysis maps ten skin conditions with Opatra camera technology, and Botox and filler consultations are credited toward your treatment.
Are massages covered by benefits?
Our massage services are spa relaxation treatments and are not billable to extended health plans.
Is there a patch test for lashes?
Yes, and it's free — book it before your first extension appointment if you've had sensitivities before.
Questions we didn't answer?
Call or text the studio — we're happy to help.
